En Route
I've stopped at a hotel in Hammond, Louisiana, largely because I've been up since 4 this morning. Astute observers will note that is an hour later than I should have gotten up. I overslept exactly an hour, but still made it to the airport in time.
The van has been purchased and it seems to be a fine van. I've driven it for a little over four hours now and it is comfortable and runs well. Huzzah!
Mike was awesome and went above and beyond in performing his duties as Host of Houston. I highly recommend him and suggest you, too, eat at Pappas BBQ. Mmm, mmm, good.
More traveling tomorrow! Maybe 13 hours worth!
