The Snakes Session
It was a few months ago that I wrote a song for Snakes On A Plane. It was just today that I finally recorded it with a friend.
Here's a suitably musician-y picture of Scott and I during the recording session at his studio/house today:
He teaches at the school where I work and plays publicly in places around town. He does mostly Dylan and Guthrie and blues stuff, and was more than willing to aid me in this endeavor.
I am not entirely pleased with the way my singing turned out, but it is what it is.
So! If you're interested, here you go.

So who on the planet couldn't love "Dust in the Wind" for a tune, righto!! The lyrics are funny & clever, & if you guys re-record it, I think you should have a little fun with it, loosen up a little. Maybe have a shot of tequila before you get started, eh? ;oP
Danna - there will be no tequila shots! Are you trying to kill my poor mother?! :) I agree, though, that I could be a bit more loosened up. If we'd done 5 or 6 more takes, I would have gotten there I think.
HP - I figured wearing the shirt might get me in the right frame of mind :)
Glad you both liked it!

Is there a hidden meaning to the words? (I'm old). And if not, I fly fairly often and I don't care for it anyway and now I will really not care for it.
A pet peeve of mine - the improper use of "I". When in doubt, use the noun by itself and you will find that "me" works better.
Sorry - I think I'm a bit wired at the moment.
