    Smooth Criminal

This is how I normally look (cheesy grin and all):

I've had a goatee for pretty close to 8 years now.

Then, last fall, I grew out the full beard for the Living Nativity:

    Beardface

I kept it for a while by request, and then it got close enough to the Passion Play that I needed to keep it, so I've had it for six months or so. I like that a full beard saves me time shaving in the morning, but I don't really like how it looks on me. So, on Saturday night, when the Passion Play was done, I shaved it.

    All of it:

I've been told it makes me look younger. I've been called "babyface." I've been told I look like the "Can you hear me now?" guy. All I know is that I am furiously regrowing the goatee as fast as I can, and I'm tempted to use Chia seeds in the meantime.

My friend Brian recently shaved his beard, too. He Twittered the following haiku, which I thought was great, even though I never get the itchiness with my beards:
    Beard ephemeral
    Hair today, gone tomorrow
    No more itchy face

Is your head on sideways? All three pictures seem to tell me it must be.

You could make one out of felt or wool in the meantime, or draw one on with a sharpie. Plz send pix.

I like you better Goatee'd, you're more YOU.

I'm in with a vote on the Verizon guy. Which of course could lead to some potentially funny moments. All you need is about 200 people who will follow you and off you go. Just pick some random person talking on their cell and all of you can start to follow them as their "network". Kinda like Improv Everywhere.

Some would contend that haiku in English shouldn't have seventeen syllables.

That being said, nice 'ku, Brian.

    I muchly prefer the goatees.

    Nice post Babyface.

In response to other comments and knowing that Babyface won't tell you MelEik and I already volunteered to be part of the network, we're in please feel free to join.

I still like the beard and/or the goatee. But, it's not your defining feature, so you're still Mark babyface or no.

I was too tired to notice what looked different about you tonight, but there it is.

1 vote for goatee. I'm thinking about growing mine back too. It's more work though.

personally, i prefer beard, but im a beard person. all 3 mups are cuties though.

    No more Gordon Freeman!?

    Grow faster!

    I'm in on the network!
